I am going to color match the mud guards. I think it will make it look a little better. I liked the 99-01 bumper but I like this one better I think it looks more agressive, plus I like being different. I used Tein S-Tech springs.

Yea, not many have the newer bumper, mostly because everybody has gone the JDM route it seems. I just couldn't get into the nose on the bumper myself.

I am about 20-30 minutes north...depends how far south in Littleton I suppose. When you moving out this way?

No, they were an option from what ive researched. My 01 GTZ did NOT have them, and i got it from the original owner.



I like the 02-03 bumper a little better as well. Great job so far, just get that bumper painted and you will be set.

I like what you did with the 02-03 front, any modifying it in mind? Those who have checked out my build thread know im planning to fit the mugen lip and do some custom fg and chopping work to work with a nice after market 99-01 grill.

So today I cleared my corners. and dismantled pretty much my interior to prep it for paint. I had it painted white for a while and don't like it. Now im going with a matte black and hopefully it will look good. Also ordered some drilled and slotted rotors and new pads and yellow halogen fog lights. I'll post up pics of the interior and corners tommorow! and of course the brakes and Fogs when I get them!

Im going to paint it all A nice black. I just finished laying the first coat of black on all the pieces. Im getting close to being done I'm just starting to lose daylight soon.

I sanded it with two different types.
I used 180 grit and then used 1200 grit paper after that I primered it and put about 5 coats of black Kylon Fusion paint on it.

Thanks man I have a little experience paint the interior pieces. I painted them white a while ago and didn't like it as much as I thought I would got to dirty and to flashy.

Yea I used plenty of clear coats. I painted my trim before over a year ago and it did perfectly fine

Ok So a lil Update!
I had gotten drilled and slotted rotors in the mail a few weeks ago but the front rotors and pads were to thick, and the pads were no where near the right ones. Anyways I got new ones in the mail the other day and installed them. There drilled and slotted powerstop rotors w/ Evolution ceramic pads. ENJOY!!

There's a few more pics I will have up when I get back from Miami.. I'm painting the diamonds on the trunk and the trunk garnish under that too.When all is said in done, the bumpers will be gloss black, the roof and spoiler too. so the hood, trunk, and sides of car will be white.. I know most prob won't like the panda theme on my car but I love it and I think Will be the first... Let me know what you guys think, Thanks!

If you're gonna do the front and rear bumpers, than you need to paint your GTZ side cladding black too, then it'll flow A LOT BETTER
