New to TGC

Hi all i am a 17 year old senior from new jersey...i just bought my 1999 ES galant about 2 1/2 months ago for $1300 with 123k mi on it. The front bumper cover was messed up and i have to repair this anyone have any places or sites i can get this for an affordable price?

Welcome to TGC! Thats way to funny! When i first recived my car (also a 1999 galant ES) the front bumper was cracked! hehe...i got mine directly from mitsubishi but i get a discount...check around on sites...if you go to google.com and type in "99 galant front bumper" alot of results should pop up for sites to buy!

the 02 and 03 look different from the 99 to 01. there are also jdm front bumpers and lots of others on ebay and other sites. best thing to do would do a google search so you can see the differences (kinda hard to explain)

I suggest u to think about what you really want... cuz u can use "the (oem) stock bumper" same as that one u have in ur car, "aftermarkets" can be those made it by Fiberglass and we also have the JDM look... if u pocket can afford for the JDM one.. cool u can get it from a member here who stay at JAPAN (if im not wrong) {his name is tigger} so he can get one for u and send it to ur house, or the same jdm bumper look made it in FG that CALI makes..!!

I had my galant repainted at a shop in Staten Island, the guy did great work and the prices were reasonable. Tints, not really sure, I have been tinted for a while and had that done on SI too. You might want to join njtuners.com also. It's a local site, but people there will help lead you in the right direction as far as bodyshops and tint

Paint isnt necessary, you can follow the trend of every other midatlantic member and have a multicolor car :)

Sounds like a plan..im just going to get a quote 1st to see what it costs..i still have to pay my highschool senior dues and all the other stuff...and btw i posted the images of my car but hopefully within a month i should have enough for the paint

THanks alot BRo they gave me my front bumper cover and reinforcment bar for $100.. now i just have to get it installed
