i replaced all three of my motor mounts about 8 months ago and they are shot. is there anything that can replace the rubber in the mount or do i have to buy new motor mounts?

You do know you have 4 mounts right? But anyway try the prothane kit, there are solid mounts so they do cause some vibration from the engine, but nothing like having busted mounts. Had mine in for about 6months no problem what so ever

I was told my 3 motor mounts were bad and the tranny mount was good. I bought a tranny mount anyway, and had it installed at the same time. Good thing I did, because it was shot to hell.

do they make a prothane kit for the galant?

they make one for the 00-05 eclipse. Make sure to get the right engine size and corresponding transmission (AT or MT)
