Will the s7 Galant gauges work in my 2003 ES? I see they only advertise they fit 99-01 Galants....but arent they the same as 2003 Galant? Thanks

Are the needles actually that bright? those things look like their pretty bright even in some sunlight

yea sorry i did search and that post you requested is what made me ask....the post is an 01 Galant, mines an 03, the gauges say they fit 99-01...what extra peice do i need? thx for the info-

no. the difference between the '99-'01 and '02-'03 gauges is the bezel. the '02-'03 gauge cluster does not have this piece so if you install the s7 faces (or any faces) the edges and wires will be exposed. that is the extra piece that you need if you have an '02-'03. this:

and did any of you run into the issue wif the other topic.....about the dimming and flickering or did you end it wiring it to the headlights? or end up getting that inverter?

what flickering? mine have never flickered (i have had 3 different styles of EL gauges). my inverter is wired to the dimmer switch.

my gauges were also flickering and dimming, in the end no they are dim. but i am expecting a new inverter to arrive and then i will see.
