im so excited...im gonna receive mah new rims today...i cant wait to install it but sadly i need to wait until spring or summer to install it..
any suggestion i should i get fo tires???which is not that expensive but good performance..
and some lowering springs to...i heard works is good and megan is good too...
so any suggestion guys.....???

what rims did u get? I have yokohama avid w4's 215/45 17 inches and am pleased with them, they are on enkei edr9's, they will be even better when i get my lowering springs on shortly, Im going with tein s-techs.

I have 17' Speedy rims and they are sporting 225/45r17 on the front and 235/55r17 in the back. Cant wait to get new back tires cause the tires look too fat on the rim. Had to get spacers so that they wouldnt rub.

i would get 215/45/17's or 215/50/17 or even 225/45/17 215/40/17 is gonna be pretty small. i had them on my old enkei cdr9's but i went up to 215/45/17's when i got my new rims (i think they are adr j-cross). it looks and rides better with the bigger tires. my car is lowered with tein s-techs and kyb agx's

what year is your car (what generation)? according to dragwheels.com, the wheels are 17x7 +40mm. if you have an 8G (1999-2003) get 225/45r17.

IF you have a 9G youre gonna want 235/50-17 it is .06'' taller then the stock 215/55-17

On your 9G 225/45 is not going to look good. If you wanted low profile you should have gone with a larger wheel like an 18 or 19. I have 225/45 on my 8G, but it has a smaller wheel well so it fits better.

that is how it fits on mine with 225/45-17 on yours they would look tiny.

Yeah thats true I think mine are 17x7 and 225s were a bitch to fit on them.

i have a blue pearl galant,,, im think its gonna be ok,,since im a newbie,,,what do you think?? maybe ill get 25/50/17 and make it look like circuit car..

You should have done more research before you bought those rims.. 9G's have a lot of space in the wheel wells.. At least 18's I would have gone with if I had a 9G.. 18x8.5s with 235/50/18's

Even 19 look small on a 9g but it will look a lot better then 17s. Send them back. I've done that before.

if this doesnt work I would try 235/50-17 and see how you like it. You can always upgrade down the line.
