Bulb Cross Reference

I am reading online about bulb cross references. I am looking to convert my existing Fogs on my 2009 Ralliart to HID and my Fogs say 9145.... I read on three sites so far that H10/9145 are interchangeable names for the same light connection. Also, will i need to upgrade the stock housing on my Fogs (forget projectors) I mean for melting purposes? Or are the stocks fine with 35w HIDs?

Sorry I don't know whether they are. I do know that H10 works on my 09 Sport. I have to imagine that Mitsubishi would use the same bulb for my Sport that they put on your Ralliart

According to the manual (again, I have the Sport edition), says up to 55W. I would assume then, that you would be straight with 35W HIDs.

Any wattage/heat experts want to shed more light?
