I've been saving up for new rims and I love the look of the advan rs's. I want to stay with 17's but want a wider rim for that stretched agressive look, but plan on getting the brembo evo 8 swap and want to know what to look for. What size of rim will fit on the 7g with 95 gst brake swap, will a 8.5 fit with 225-45 17 or is the 8.0 more practical with the 225-45 17? just want that slight streched look. what offset would clear the brembos?

are those the advan rs? sick man sick!!! i wonder what the offset is on these for that concave look... does the vr-4 legnum fit different offsets than the usdm galant?

This is what in looking for with a slight stretch in 17's

Offset needs to be 35 or lower, 8 should be fine especially if you don't want to do a ton of fender massaging

Would the 8 in width and a 225-45-17 tire give that streched look on those rims? Like in the pic above? YTour running a stretched rear arent you?

it shouldnt look stretched. 8'' is around 200mm and the tires are 225, so it should be right on

So if you want them to look stretched you need something like 215 or 205.

225 on a 8" is mildly stretched. An 8" wheel is actually 8" from bead to bead and 9" from lip edge to lip edge. I would suggest 215/45R17s. They will fit nicely still on a 8" wheel, and not be super stretched like a 205 may be.

215/45 is what ive been running on my old 17/7 rims and you can see how it is almost even with the rim......

Just a slight bulge. Was thinking of a 8.5 out back maybe. Or the 18's that are on the legnum above? Anybody good with photoshop? Would be nice to see what the g looks like with the 18's and a little drop. LOL.

LOL, ALL the bushings are rotted and the struts and springs are toast, pluss it doesnt help that I had a huge ass box in the trunk w 2 jl w6's. Not to mention the batt is in the trunk also. Got the bushings and saving up for tien's and the advans.
