For awhile now, my wife's '00 Galant V-6 has had a creaky suspension. It's a noise that is most noticeable when braking. It gets a lot more noticeable when it's cold outside. I had the stablizer end links replaced about 6mo ago, and the shop said the shocks/struts were fine. I'm wondering if the creaky noise might be the bushings getting old. Any thoughts would really be appreciated! Thanks.

control arms and ball joints, but unless they are really fucked up dont bother change em till the weather gets warmer. Its the cold thats make the stuff creak and what not.

Thanks for the reply. Is it a difficult job to replace them? I have some novice experience working on cars here an there, some things like replacing shocks, brake pads/rotors, installing aftermarket bolt-on exhaust before... just need to figure out if I can do it myself and save some bucks...
