How long does it take for a 8g to re learn idle

I asked that question all the time to mechanics. Most of which replied 1 to 2 weeks so long as your consistent behind the wheel. Meaning, driving on the highway with a consistent speed (not over 75mph) would most defiantly speed up the ECM/ECU's process to relearn.

For me it's about 75 miles.

As long as you keep your driving consistent it shouldnt take long. Drive the car like a granny and then like a bat out of hell while its trying to learn everything WILL not help you out.

drive with the a/c on. it helps re-learn a bit faster IMO

In that case just turn the defroster on.
