I didn't even realize I never posted a hello thread, well guys little bio here, names Phillip (27), born and raised in Port Arthur, Texas, I've been into DSMs for about 8 years now, I'v owned a lot of cars and I wanted an Evo, and found a few fairly cheap but didn't want something ragged to hell and back, so I looked for alternatives, and found the 8g Galant's, which to me seemed like a hell of deal a FWD strocked Evo, for the price of the down payment of a Evo. I immediately started to sign up for Galant forums all over the internet, and found this site which I highly like, anyways after about 2 weeks of searching I saw the 3g AWD swaps, and after research figured out that Galants and 3gs have similar if not the same rear structures, hhhmmm 4 doors, 2.4 dohc, and the possibility for awd. I was sold and planned the build. so this leads me to my second post which will be in a few minutes.

welcome post some pics of your new 8G!

I don't have a galant yet.... I plan on getting a few major parts first. I'm 1 major hurdle down and about 2-3 more parts coming in a few days. but I'm on the hunt right now actually, I'm going in a few minutes to see if a friend still has one at his shop. sorry forgot to post my build, will do it when I get back I promise.
