I have a 2003 galant es, i want to lower it like 2 inches, but i noticed it looks lower in back? what could that be from. and how much would be good to lower? i dont want to slam it but just a nice looking drop..

As everyone will tell you on there's the Search feature there you can look up for lowering springs or something, but Im going to help you I would say that you'll like the Tein s-tech lowering springs drop Front -1.7/ Rear -1.3 inch, there's many guys over here with that drop so look around and compare the pics, take a ruler and measure your gap and look for some springs that match that measure. Look over the forum for Tein S-Tech, Eibach Pro kit (the mildest drop), Progress Springs, Megan racing (gives you a big drop).

I am on teins. You back may look lower because the struts may have gone bad. My struts were horrible in the rear so when I lowered it is now around same height it was. Front is almost 2'' lower.

I have an 03 es as well, I just put kyb gr2's with tein s-tech springs, I am really pleased with the drop and my tires are not rubbing either, (215/45 r17 +45mm offset) the handling is definately an upgrade over stock.

If you want to lower it 2 inches, you should look into coilovers..

I am also looking at the evo8 rims they are 17's. Would it rub if I dropped it??

To lower it with evo rims i think you need like the eibach or Tein S-Techs and youll need to roll your fenders

Well the springs dont really matter they are just different heights and compression ratios. But yes you will need to most likely either roll your fenders or camber correct.

Yeah I know I'm referring to the drop achieved by the Tein S-Tech Front 1.7in/ Rear 1.3in,

@ OP but if I were you:

1) I would roll my fenders
2) Buy evo wheels and install them
3) Measure the gap I have
4) Look for some springs that reduce the gap I have (There are many different good brands that give different drops.
