Just wondering if anyone has seen the new led undercar kits installed on a car. They say that they are brighter than neon but I have never seen them in person.

I can't even imagine a way to put LEDs as an underbody kit without using a couple of hundred. Do you know where we could find information on these?

They are selling them on ebay!! You can get some kits that change like seven different colors.

I dunno man....500 LED's don't seem like they'd be very bright distributed across four tubes, but I could be wrong. I'd like to see actual pics instead of animation to see the true effect. If you measure it out, it's roughly 3 LED's per inch. That doesn't seem like it would light up a lot. I'm not going to spend $200 to find out. However, in searching around it looks like you can find them cheaper in single colors. CLICK HERE ('http://search.ebaymotors.com/search/search.dll?MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Febaymotors%2Fws %2F&siteid=100&ht=1&from=R7&ebaytag1=ebayreg&query=LED+Undercar&query2=LED+Undercar&search_option=1&exclude=&category0=6000&categorymap=6000&category1=6000&minPrice=&maxPrice=&ebaytag1code=0&SortProperty=MetaEndSort&status=MetaEndSort')

I wouldn't mind having LED tubes for under the seat instead of neons.

I saw them at one of the vendor booths at NOPI this year.. they were pretty bright and VERY durable.. the guy was slamming them on the ground and they still worked.. better than neon tubes.. and yeah.. you can get as many as you like in a chain of them.. and just keep adding..

they sound nice i'd get me possibly. but one thing u gotta remember is that led's point its like in a str8 line, unlike neons that glow whichever way. with that said, sometimes it might be hard to mount the bar since u'd have to mount them downward to get the best light and sometimes thats not possible

They have videos at Plasmaglow.com ('http://www.plasmaglow.com/fusion')
I like that fade 2 option. That's pretty sweeet. I'd take the time to install it right.

Yeah. they looked pretty sweet..

They were actually like christmas lights... a long cord connecting little LED modules.. so you could route them however you wanted...

That sounds like it could look pretty cool. You would definitely be cop bait driving down the roads with them blazing if they are as bright as they claim.

I would however avoid purchasing anything from someone with the e-mail address of [email protected] (fooled) Just my 2 cents.
