well yeah ive been here awhile ive talked 2 a few people here and there and this is def my most visited website right up there along with facebook craigslist and ebay lol wit dat bein said im lookin for some advice and suggestions on what i should do next.... i got rims for my car at a steal of a price the only thing is that they rub in the back...i know you guys arnt the biggest fans of big rims but i kinda like them and i got them for way cheaper then i would have gotten smaller rims and tires for lol so yeah...a little advice...what i should do next to the car....and any ideas about how to stop the rubbing in the back..? thanks guys!!

225/30-20 would fit better.

The stock circumference is 78.5'' around.
The circumference of 225/35-20 is 82.3'' around
The circumference of 225/30-20 is 79.5'' around

So right now you are almost 4 inches too big in circumference with 225/30 you will be 1'' larger which isnt horrible.

Are you rolled in the rear? and on most rims on the back it will show you width and offset.

215/30-20 may be your best shot though depending on wheel width and offset to not rub. And that size is also closest to stock.

It is fine as long as you dont do extremes really. The front fenders are more decorative, but the rears are more structural. The rears dont have to be rolled much.

If it was my car.... I would downgrade to 18'' wheels to improve the ride quality, and get some better/ more tasteful wheels. maybe something black with a polished lip. just my 02 cents.

If you like the whole chrome thing, they make pillar covers in chrome and the door handle chrome. Looks like you want a flashy show kind of look. What I would do is the headliner, get some HIDs if you don't already have them, and most important of all, swap it to 5-speed.

sorry i took so long guys its been hell...and im trying to find some1 to fix my fender the cheapest i found so far was 400 bucks which im not sure if im gettin ripped off or not... but i havent been able to take any updated pics yet but i found some from a show that was awhile back...also i love the idea of blacked out interior i jus dont know how to go about doing it....but heres the pics i found

those are old pics b4 the fender damage and also in the bay is diffrent i "upgraded" to a intake which im sort of regreting now bcuz its lose and i think its causing damage to the TB...i heard that the i4's are weak and anything can make it break...also bcuz its lose and not supported its hitting up against the car so it makes a raddle noise when the car is idle....besides the intake i have a yellow top battery and thats about it...i will try to get new pics soon as possible i broke my nexus one so im waitin on insurance to send me a new 1 and then ill take the pics of the engine bay
also if any1 knows a decent price to paint a fender let me know please lmao

Try to ziptied the intake somewhere on the car, for the fender damage if you can post some pics of it that would be helpful, but if it only the fender then try getting one from a Junkyard and paint it, it shouldn't be $400.

yeah it happened like that to me. Took the damn tow truck like 30 minutes to figure out how to jack it up. handling was also slightly compromised.

400 dollars isnt too bad for paint work/install in our area. you gotta add in the fact of blending the new paint on the fender into the hood, front bumper cover and drivers door. and possibly the mirror and pillar as well if they are a good shop. but if the price is just to paint the fender thats kinda high.

but yeah thats pretty much what he said blending and he said i have a complacated paint job like 3 stage or somethin cant really remember but yeah i thought 400 for the fender alone was pricey and then i asked him to paint the rear visor and rain gaurds im getting n he said he would do the fender and the gaurds and some other nicks n dings on the car for 750...then he said 100 extra to fix my rear bumper some other stuff wit that so i guess 850 total for everything....thats alot and i was planning on going jdm hopefully sooner then later so i wont wanna paint then get new bumpers later that need to be painted....geesh so im thinking fender by itself just to make the car look decent but 400....?

your exterior looks pretty much done. i say work on your interior: 3G Eclipse black seats, vinyl up your dash and door panels. thats what i would do. maybe another TV or two haha jk

if you get a picture we can help. And 850 for everthing isnt too bad once I get my exterior finished I am expecting somewhere around 3500 for labor and paint unless I do the work myself. But I would rather it be clean. Probably gonna shell out the extra for a complete respray of the OEM Gray

mmm what r these black seats u speak of lol i want my inside black lol i got the car with grey cloth i upgraded to leather( seats door panels pretty much a whole interior including a rug and dash packed it in the back on my g and my boys tl) for 100 bucks and the guy threw in the carbon fiber thing a miggys for free which now im findin out ppl want 400+ for so that was nice but now i want to add the custom look how much work is it vinyl the dash like u said i tried the spray paint route with the last door panels i had didnt come out bad but didnt come out like a pro did it either and i do want more tvs lol im surrounded by car fanatics my boy has a navagator wit 14 tvs in it last time i counted lol i want the ones i have now and the another 1 with the rear view mirror is 2 in the head rest and maybe just maybe a flip down 1 in the middle....i dont really wanna over do it but my car does enter shows and it seems the more in car entertainment u have the better u do

haha doesnt sound like a track car to me. But 26 screens is over kill. I am thinking like 4 screens at most and possibly turning 3 into mirrors I have 2 infrared cameras right now. A 3rd and I can have 2 side cameras and one rear.

n the funny thing is my boy had a 3g n he had a turbo for it which he gave 2 me but i know nothing of turbos or anything so its just sitting in the basement collecting dust it was never used as far as i know im not sure what i want to do with it my throttle response is slow anyways i floor it and it picks up speed very very slow or sometimes it takes a few seconds but then it jumps to life and picks up speed so im not sure about turbo'in something that doesnt seem to even be a sturdy base u kno

lol yeahhhhh they were saying that they were sick of cars coming in with snow on them and all these other issues so they moved it to march...but then i guess im gonna jus fix the fender...this person painted my car the 1st time so i trust his work but for my own peice of mind im gonna ask a few other shops just to be sure then if they are all about the same price ill cough up the money for then fender then from there on save for JDM!!!

you should research turbocharging a bit, and possible upgrades for you to consider are outlander manifold and v6 throttle body take baby steps like me :)

haha that nav looks slightly confused. Its like luxury then a little rubber snake thingy. IMO its not that clean. He can definitely execute it better with a similar or more unique look on it.

alright guys some more questions i seen that the eclipse back seats fit in the 8gs and ive seen the front seats as well is there anything speical we have 2 do to make them fit.? also i was at work saturday and i was inspecting this 08 lexus hybrid...when i opened the door the door stil that says lexus lit up when i opened the door...it was a minor detail but it blew me away...i kno our galants can get stils like that as well idk where 2 find them but if i came up on 1 is there a way to light it up?
