I just saw this and I was wondering how much hp gain would I get? Are headers easy to install? Most important...is this a good deal?

Cant say anything about the price or the brand, but my DC headers were fairly easy to install.

HP - Not much, if any at all.
Install - Can you turn a wrench?
Deal - Do you have any other performance mods? Why do you want them?

well performance mod? not really. Just an Injen Intake. So there's no point of having the headers then?

so wait...headers won't pass smog? they don't give you any hp gain...so there's no point in buying them right?

you wont legally. unless you know a guy to slip him a bill and he will pass you. The header removes your pre-cat and the DC sports one also replaces the cat.

As for hp gains, I think dc sports has the better design. My guesstimate would be you gain 8tq and 8hp from removal of the cats

Ok but for example if you put the header in and then you want to smog you can put the old one in right? also it won't give you a check engine light or will it?

I have no check engine lights on. I love the DC headers. And i could tell a slight difference. Car seems to pull a little bit harder.

none. headers all remove at least 1 of the cats (up to all 3 on the V6). this will automatically fail smog in CA. i used to pay alot of money to pass until i removed my aftermarket downpipe (essentially the section of headers from after collectors to the catback).

dammit, bc i got the cali spec I4 n that means that even if i get the obx header it still wont pass. so not cool. oh well then i jus goin 2 save $$ n get me the evo head n all the accesories that go to it
