I was thinking it the rings. Since it almost has 200,000miles on it. I think im goin to swap it for a new engine.

Not rings.... You probably need new valve seals........a lot of diamantes and 3000gt's smoked blueish on take off.....many times people woukd get scared thinking their cars needed a new engine, but all the needed to do was a valve job. I was told by a Mitsu tech.

correct.
but having someone change your valve seals is pretty expensive. I just opted to swap to a 6G74 instead :)

Besides the smoking it also is leaking oil all over the place. Everything below the head gasket is covered pretty much. A new engine would be the cheapest way to go I think. They seem to be 400.00-500.00 around my area.
Btw Beam you car is pretty clean.
