Transmission Needed...I think

The other day, my transmission went out....it does nothing, you put it in any gear and nothing happens. Seems kinda wierd but not sure what's going on.
Is this a common issue with these cars?
Does anyone have a good used transmission for an 01 Galant 3.0L V6 automatic?

Why not go ahead and do a 3G 5spd swap?

On a side note, did you check the trans fluid? Check the trans for a crack?

I can't do a manual transmission.

Fluid is fine, I also checked the shift cable and it was fine also.
