problem?

One of the bolts that was grounding a wire broke off (IDK how) but was wondering if this was going to affect anything major? and what exactly was it a ground to? anyone know?

Looks like it might be one of those noise suppressor things. I beleive they keep the noise from the electronics from giving you feedback through the radio. im not 100% sure but at any rate id ground it back. Did you snap that bolt off or did it just break? If you snapped it it will probably be really easy to get out. If its frozen in there it probably wont be to easy. anyway good luck.

well havent really noticed a difference in my electronics and the bolt is stuck in there only way to get it out is to try and drill it. the cable seems to go to the fuel injectors though

just use an easy out on it. and replace the bolt.
if it sticks use some pb blaster on it first and let it set for a few minutes.

i have no idea what its for. but its an easy fix.

thanks got the broken bolt out and just bought annew one
