Hey guys,

A thief broke into my Galant and stole the head deck, and in the process damaged just about everything in that cluster. Something happened to the cable that controls the vents.

I hope this description makes sense... here goes:

The far left limit (face vents) is now shifted to almost straight up and down and when you move it all the way clockwise to the defroster position, it just shifts the cable position instead of actuating the vents. When moving it to the face vents, it's like the cable isn't all the way inserted and it just slips out of place when moving the dial to defroster vents. I have to reach back there and push the cable back into place to get it to blow out the defroster vents (easily accomplished since I haven't replaced the head deck yet).

How do I fix this? It's driving me crazy!
