I'm curious to know how much you guys think i could get for my galant, when i sell it. Its a 96 es with 95k on it and 25k on the transmission, power everything but seats, only a few small cigarette burns in driver seat and small dent on front of car, paint and everything is good.
im thinking like 4500 is that 2 much, not enough? i want to sell it and pay the rest of loan i owe and buy a ninja 250r for 3000!
thanks for any help

A bike is cool and all but what are you going to do when the weather is like this and like you said you got 10 inches of snow on the ground. It's only a 250? You should get a bigger one than that.

$3000 maybe less. Try www.kbb.com and then subtract about 500 from that price.

i did kbb like last month and it said like 4800-500= 4300
the reason i wanna get a 250r is its only 3 grand completely new and the ninja 500 is like 5200 new, plus after i sell my car i plan on buying a cheapy car to drive during the bad weather, also i checked insurance on it and i pay 1600 a year for the galant, insurance for the motor cycle from progressive insurance is only 205 per year, big change

remember if ur gonna sell it. sell it for higher than what u want. people are gonna bargain and make the price lower...

If i wanted to sell my 94 I would sell it as is with whatever is on or in it and I would want at least 8k for it, but if not I would keep it and make it a real runner.

This is one of the main reasons I will never buy another mitsubishi. The resale value is ranked right up there with domestics. I was going to trade my car in, in october and they were going to give me $3k and its an 98 ES with (at the time) 80k miles. My mom's 92 toyota corrola with 265k miles is probably worth the same as my galant. Its a discrace. I saw an article in the Miami Herald a few months ago, saying mitsu is ranked in top 5 for lowest resale value, along with kia, ford, chevy and dodge? (something like that), where as Nissan, Toyota, VW, Honda and bmw(?) were ranked the highest.
