wont idle when warm

So earlier this month I bought an 01 es V6. I had the check engine light come on with the 1603 code, Back-up battery circuit malfunction, about a week ago, and reset it. No other codes came up when I read the code. Since I have owned the car though, when I start the car up when the motor is warm it will not idle/run unless i give it some gas for about 30 seconds to a minute, then it is fine. It does not do this when the motor is cold. So my question is what could be causing this?:orangeconfused:

Not sure when the last tune up was done, and I plan on putting new plugs and wires on when it warms/dries up.

damm.that sucks, of the top of my head i wud think it to be an electrical issue,try a serch u might come up with sumthing or an idea where to start looking.gud luck.
