ok. my passenger headlight only turns on when i turn my brights on. if i have my regular night lights on it won't light up. i put a new connector on it and still nothing. i haven't had a chance to use a test light or volt meter on the wire yet. would you say it's either a shorted wire or a bad switch?

are you sure the bulb is ok? there are 2 filaments in the H4 bulb (1 for hi, 1 for low) on USDM 8G headlights. it is very possible your low beam filament is bad and the high beam filament is working still.

first check the bulb then use a test light but more than likely ^^^^^
