So I've noticed the past day or so that my passenger door lock is stuck half-way open. I can lock it back but it won't fully unlock so my girl can open the door. if anyone has any experience with this let me know please. I'm going to post photos so you can see it

Hmmm interesting. Did you take apart door panels at all? I had that happen with my e36 when I caught the door handle rod that goes to the latch and the handle stuck. So it could be something similar if you were tinkering behind the door panel.

I have a similar problem with my driver side lock... it's precisely the opposite however, mines sticks halfway when locking, but I can lock it by hand... does it move at all using power locks or do you have to move it by hand both ways?

Yea I just took the door panels off when I painted all the stuff

and yes I can lock the door by hand and with the power locks. But it just won't unlock on that one door. FML this shit is retarded

I had the exact same problem with my G, that and both of the front windows roll up really slow. I dont know how i fixed the problem, but when my aftermarket alarm stopped working i replaced ALOT of fuses everywhere and i upgraded to an optima yellow top at the time. The door lock thing went away but the front two windows are still pretty slow.

You may have to grease your window track and regulators.

your passenger trim piece isnt on properly, loosen the screw and slide it back a little bit more, guaranteed that will fix ur problem

As QnzMostWanted mentioned, go ahead and take off your trim behind the handle and see if the lock starts working properly, if so, when you put back the plastic trim, don't over tighten the screw

try wd40
also try locking it then unlocking it when it deos that if u pull the outside handle too fast before it unlocks it gets stuck like that (not sure if this is ur issue just now it has happened to me)

Pardon the bad pics..You have to take out the door insert. Then loosen the allen screws by the lock on the side of the door where it clips into the car frame. Also remove the window rail at the bottom of the door right below the allen screws. Then the most assinine part is you have to like..wiggle that shit out from the door through one of the cracks..I replaced mine from another G i found at the junkyard BUT for some reason the hook piece that latches from the door lock to the outside handle piece is like..2 or 3 inches longer..now i dont wanna fix it.
