The nightshades look a lot better than the yellow tint. i dis-like the yellow lens, but thats just my opinion of course.

Why not use headlight tint film?

http://www.decalfx.com/smoked_headlight_film.html

It will look SOOOOO much better than any spray on stuff.

not to mention the fact that it won't ruin the light output

now that we figure out that shades looks better , whats advantage of film over spray and vice versa.... I also wanted to tint my taillights but only top half , like that

its not the light output that is really affected, but I saw an Audi A4 with yellow tinted lenses and first thing that popped into my mind was Honda or shitty riced old Acura.

and his car is too light for nightshade to really work well.

yes it is. problem with nighshades is that it is a spray and no matter how good you are at putting it on, you will never have a uniform layer of nightshades on the lens.

If you can find a good tint shop, most of the offer films for the lighting assemblies - if you're going to do it at all, at least have it look professional and uniform as stated before.

Neither. clear lenses ftw.

This.

Niteshades on a head light is a silly idea to me. Why would you want to dim your lights? The yellow headlights make me think of GT cars or something.

i dont think that yellow film looks bad at all... I think I like it more that shades because its lighter and it flows with the car..... look up http://www.decalfx.com/yellow_headlight_film.html

I believe so unless they use a different film.

the light output from our housings is pretty crappy to begin with...anything that would take it down even more would be a waste IMO

That yellow on there dosnt flow with anything, if you had a jgtc race car then ya!

i think you should re-amber your corners(with real amber reflective tape sold on bay), paint the in side housing black, and buff the crap out of your headlights. BTW that amber peice in our headlight is F'n disgusting looking..construction orange and shittt

The headlight tinting film can be removed MUCH easier than any spray on stuff. Not to mention like I said earlier, will look MUCH better when done right.

You have foglights, why don't get them tinted yellow and leave the heads alone?
