small but new project for my 8g

dont think anyone would remember the thread about having to paint my g for $3000 well i got a better price $1500 from my uncle who works as the manager for the auto body department for a porshe n audi dealer. so my project is color match my heads pearl white like the car i just need an extra set so at the same time i can clear the corners. any body have any spares in good condition black or chrome dont matter. the lens gotta be in condition and cheap for the set

nevermind i get it. you want to paint the inside of the headlight. in just going to throw this out there though... your light pattern will be greatly reduced seeing as the light is reflected off the inside housing then spread out even with hids my .2

no not the complete light your know how the stocks can come chrome or black ill be painting that part. the chrome part where the light reflects will stay the normal way. im gonna rip them part sand primer and paint them and then put them back together i think it would look nice and different because i dont really wanna do the mods to put the jdm or halo.

oh ok...might look a bit strange. there was a guy selling some red jdm heads last month i think i didnt like them at all just didnt look right. but if you do it prep them right or all hells gonna break loose in your headlights

many members have done this allready. no big deal. it will be easier w/ a black set ('02+) since you don't have to strip the chrome.

Interesting.. I didn't like the red JDM heads either but I'm interested in how the while would look. A lot of people here knows that a color can make a semi-drastic change in somethings look.

those read JDM's are rare from factory since they were only made for the red SUPER-VR4 (the SUPER VR4 was a very limited edition in japan that only came in red or silver; the silver version came w/ matching silver painted headlight housings). here's how they looked on the car they came on:

If you're referring to the red Super VR-4 in the picture a few posts above, yes, it is the stock Super VR-4 spoiler.
