BLACKED OUT TAILS!!! what do YOU think?

ok since im on a tight budget for now i am trying to do all the cheap or free, and easy mods i can on the G. so i tinted my tails... i used the threads from 2 of our members... thanks to NJ G-sta i cleared my reverse light section and thanks to Eclipse97526 i tinted my tails... i masked off the reverse section to keep it clear and here they are!!!!!

i was thinking the same thing but my G has that nasty sun fried black to it so i didnt want them too dark so they wouldnt make my paint look any worse...lol but i will go darker maybe when i get the car repainted black. thanks for the input.

but i do have a ? and could not find the answer. i would also like to tint the brake light on the spoiler but dont see a way to remove it... there are 2 lil circles on either side and im guessing that the mounting screws are under those but not sure i dont want to break it so any help would be perfection! lol

Just a suggestion where you took off the crome galant letters above the license plate, their is dirt and the paint is like new where it was. If you go to walmart and pick up some scratch out in the automotive section like 3 bucks. rub it on their with a towel till the spots go away, then wax over where it was.

But the tails look good. To take the spoiler LED lights off, their is two phillips head screws on either side of the light under the spoiler on the outside.

I think it looks good. I think it would look even better with a light smoke over the clear but not as dark as the smoke over the red.

Thanks guys i appreciate the compliments... i soon will clean that Galant off i was gonna wait until i washed it so i can wax it all at once. thanks tho tdybear 09... johnygezony i desperately do..lol.... americanjambo never thought about that it may look even better thanks!.... latinox20 sure will im goint to clear them and tint them. maybe a lil lighter for visibility.... yep epicrock8g, vht nightshades 12.99 at my local autozone. thanks again for compliments and suggestions.
