sure but the fabrication and install will cost more than your car not to mention parts availability. an easier (and successfully done) swap would be the EVO 8/9 engine (4g63t) with 3G eclipse 5speed transmission.

no, you can keep your automatic but it will not handle the power of the engine for very long. please do some research on this forum. these are remedial questions. there is so much information here that you will be amazed.
