So I found these LEDs on Ebay for the climate control and they work great. Super bright white with no hot or cold spots. Easy to install. Took 5 minutes. The camera on my phone sucks but you can see how bright they are.

The LEDs are in the mail. Should be here in a few days. I'm also changing over the bulbs in the sifter, the ashtry and the cig lighter.

plug and play??

Yep, plug and play. Dropped right in with no issue what so ever.

Yeah, I really like them. The pic is a bit washed out but the blue and the red on the temp control are really intense. I can't wait to change all my other bulbs over. It looks way better in person. Great upgrade for literally a few dollars.

Oh ok. What about the other little bulbs, the ones that are smaller than the 74's. Did you replace those too?

These are the replacements for the 74s. There are 2 74s in the climate control, 1 74 to light the cig lighter and 1 74 to light the odometer. There are 5 194s in the gauge cluster and 1 194 in the sifter. If you're looking for matching 194s the same company sells a 6 SMD LED 194 replacement. Here's a link.

Are the LEDs in your gauge cluster bluer then the ones in your climate controls?

Mike_ODell

The gauge is blue but the needles are white although the bulbs(SMD) are white. The bulbs in the climate controls are different but also white but they show up white.

Hhhmmmm... Why do you think the gauges light up blue and everything else lights up white?

IDK? Im guessing there is something to do with a film or something either inside or outside the assy...maybe whatever they used to paint or write the numbers...I really dont know but I wish they would light up white.

Hey I just got the bulbs in yesterday and installed them, it looks GREAT, thanks! the only problem is the light is so bright, you can now see all the scratches around my A/C controls Lol, but I guess ill just paint over them.

Off topic, I used one of the size 74 LED bulbs I received and I replaced the broken bulb behind my odometer in my gauge cluster (The bulb that lights up how many miles are on your car) and now whenever I use my turn signals my odometer flashes with the green turn indicators. Got any idea why its doing this? Im guessing I should just buy a regular, non led bulb
