The shop gets the fine not you lol. Besides there are no bribing over here they just dont do shit on thier own. Only good for inspections if you take your car there for anything else you'll get completely ripped off and a really half ass job done.

alright, i was just warning you. I have talked to somebody whose job is to bring there car in for inspection for NY state. They weld the ball of the PCV to the housing so if the tech actually did inspect it, they would find it doesn't rattle and needs replacement. Also they have a reverse light out. If the shop passes them, the tech gets his liscense revoked and the shop gets fined... BAD!

Well not for nuthing thats exactly what should happen. I mean believe me if anyones gona fail an inspection it would be me I dont want them checkin shit at all. But in reality thats their job by law.

I didnt know you could fail inspection for too much play in the wheel.

I just had to replace my inner and outer tie rod ends on the driver's side b/c they had some play in them. It cost me $80 and about 2 hours in my driveway. Pretty simple job...make sure to have it aligned when your done, that or count the threads https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif like I did.
