It's about time we plan our yearly TGCIL BBQ.

I was thinking of planning this meet at Busse Woods or somewhere with the same kind of location. We'd usually plan this meet around and towards the city but considering the prices of parking, etc. I want to hear what you guys think! Throw out some locations good for a bbq type setting as well.

We'd also need to find an accommodating date to get most of the members out for a meet. So throw out some dates around end of May to early-mid June.

Well, the date is up! May 22 2010 5:30 PM. Busse Woods, Grove 17-25 Entrance of off Route 72. (pictured and boxed on below map)

Busse Woods in Arlington heights/Schaumburg. Closer to woodfield. I actually scouted it yesterday and we will be meeting at Grove 17. So go into the Grove 17-25 entrance.

I was looking at the map for busse woods and it looks like there are some nice spots to take pictures. So depending on how many people are there that day looks like we might get some good photo-ops so clean the cars boys! Blakc is where we can all meet up and red is where the pictures could be taken.

Also, I looked it up on the site if we needed a permit to meet there. I doubt we will have more than 25 people so we will be fine to just chill and hang out at Grove 17.

The weather is looking good for tomorrow! I got four bags of chips and going to get a pack of brats and pack of hotdogs before we head out tomorrow.

Also, Chitown DSM is having a little mitsu cruise/meet at portillos in Forest Park. They plan on meeting at the Hooters at woodfield at 7 and cruise out to portillos by 8. I am most likely going to proceed to that event after we bbq at Busse. Any who would like to join is welcome.
