View Full Version : Confirm wheel/tire sizes before I buy - not sure about offset

I'm looking to take the plunge and finally ditch the steelies. I'm running Tein S-Techs with KYB GR-2s (have been for almost a year).

Current wheels: stock steelies 195/65/15

Prospective new wheels/tires:
Enkei Klamp 17x7 +45mm offset with 225/45/R17s

Questions:
Will the offset work? (I'm not camber corrected)
Will the tire size work with the 7" width? I'm looking for as much traction as I can get (hence the 225 instead of 215s), and I want to make sure the width isn't going to screw anything up.

you should be fine, thats a pretty conservative wheel.

Thanks guys.

I just wanted to make sure. I read through the fitment guides, but I've never done this before, so I just wanted a sanity check. :thumb_rsvd:

You can have confidence in the FAQ I posted here, it is my business to know this.
