my 8g is blowin blue smoke whenever i sit in park for just a few minutes or am at a stop light i need to know what is the cause of it if i can get some help??

it sounds to me that the valve seals are bad. change those and it should go away. my hyundai blew blue smoke(burned oil) when i changed them it went away. try that first.

No problem. But like I said if you change them and it still does it then its something else. But after you change them you gotta drive it preferably on the highway to clean it out.

Corey is right. If it blows blue smoke mostly after idling or sitting for awhile, then it's your valve seals

okay so this may seem a silly question but should i drain the oil or is most of the oil at the bottom of the engine?

most of the oil is at the bottom of the engine, because we have gravity. your question makes one wonder if you should take up the original task.

i wasnt really looking for a smart ass remark i dont really know all the details of an engine if you give me a part i can replace i cant diagnose somethin on an engine thats why i joined this forum and posted the question

naw not yet i get paid next thursday so after that im hopin for 2 days off and i went to the mitsu dealership and they were hella expensive should i go ahead and buy the mitsu dealership ones or order some online (i.e. "performance ones")?
