2002 Front on a 2001?

This question may be either regarded as stupid, simple or flat out laughable but I'm seriously asking:

I am on my 3rd Galant. My two prior were 2002s. My latest is a 2001. I OVERWHELMINGLY prefer the 2002 front end (exterior) over the 2001. I know there are a BAZILLION body kits out there but is there a way to put a 2002 standard front end exterior on a 2001?

If so could someone point me in the right direction?

it should bolt right up, but you're gonna need to fabricate a support mount for the "nose" part of the 02 bumper. i like the 99-01 bumper though..more grill options but thats just my opinion

yea you have to get the nose support so it doesn't sag from a junkyard its spot welded to the radiator support

Yes, get that nose and if you don't have a way to weld it, bolt it. It will not need to hold anything heavy and bolts will do the job. Everything else is the same.

This was my 02 and I went to an 01 front and had removed the nose you will need for the 02 bumper. You can go back and forth with ease.
