If you use the existing wiring for the fogs, you'll be able to use your existin switch to power them (Which really isn't a switch). However for the angel eye portion, I would recommend hooking it to your parking light hot wire.
That way when you turn on your parking lights, the angel eyes in the fogs will also come on. If you wire the angel eye and the foglight to the existing foglight wiring, then they'll both come on at once.

How much did you pay for the lights and where from? Let me know how they fit in the stock locations. I've been thinking about replacing my stock fogs for a while now.

Hope this helps.

yea they are about 4 inches. about the stock size. i found them online for about 60 more or less. if u want semi local chip, u might wanna try the place where u bought ur muffler, olympic. i know that they carry optilux products and u can bargain with them. uhm other places i can think of that have em are autobarn and maybe summit racing or jcwhitney.

as for the wiring question. for sure i'd use the stock harness for the main fog light portion. makes things a lil bit easier since u don't have to run a switch into ur car. as for the angel eye portion, the parking lamps are good. another idea is to hook them up to ur ignition so that they turn on when u start up the car, for like daytime running lights possible. but if u do that, check to see if the bulbs for the angel eye are replaceable cuz they'll die out sooner or later if u use em all the time

i have the rally style fogs with angel eye rings and this is the way i wired them: the actual fogs turn on with the O.E> switch on your dash...just cut the wires from your old fogs and use those for power and ground..for the angel eye ring i ran a seperate wire from the fogs to my interior and hooked it up to the O/D button on my Levoc shifter for a clean look but you can just add another switch somewhere or you can hook it up to your headlights or turn signals but personally i like being able to turn them off and on w/e i want.

CALI, you're the man! As far as all the mods you've done to your car, you have one of the hottest Galants in the U.S. of A.

aight thanks for the info people. im gonna do what cali said cause i want the angel eye portion on with my headlights not just the parking ones. if u hook em up w/ just the parking lights it would be pointless cause the angel eye is hard to see during the day and im not gonna drive w/ just the parking lights at night. thanks again ya'll. oh im not to sure if u can change those bulbs, ill play wit it and let u know.

Hey Chip,

I saw the Angel Eye fog lights on Ebay last week. They were going for $40 but don't know what brand they are.

Hey i need help installing my foglights too. I have an 01 and in the manual it says to unscrew the housing using pliers, which doesnt make any sense cuz its held by a screw. ANywayz, i tried unscrewing the screw in the corner and for some reason the screw is like decaying (the head of the screw is jus getting fucked up) plus the screw is like fuckin huge so midway through it i'm like fuck this and i screwed what was left of the head of the screw back in. I tried doin it from the back, but after i unclip the black harness i see a white thing. I tried to turn it in clockwise or anticlockwise but it doesnt turn in either direction. So now what do i do? I'm kinda stuck and i would really appreciate some detailed directions on what to do. I've already searched other topics but they dont make any sense to me. Thanx for you guys' help.
