What size tires......

Hey guys,
just tying to find out what size tires I should get. I have a set of 17x7 wheels. I just wanna make sure I don't go too wide. I was thinking either 240x40x17 or 215x45x17. What do most of you guys have on your 17s. and if you have pics post them I would like too see. Oh yeah.... it's lowered if it matters.

yo man i dont know if 240/40/17 will fit on the rims

When I had 17's, I had 225/45/17 tires on them. 215/45/17 will work too, but 225/45/17 has more rubber and matches the stock height the best. It really shouldn't matter whether you have a drop or not unless the offset on your rims are way off.

i'm assuming 4 19's ur talking about the fitament to the 8G. 225/35zr19 and stay as close to 19x7.5 +45 as you can.

4 the 8g 225/40zr17 is too short to keep within 1% of OE rolling circumerence... 225/45zr17 is the correct size.
