It's been a long time coming, but I finally got around to fixing my Racing Harts. Cost me close to 1K just to have them sealed, painted and mounted, but after all the trouble I went through with these wheels, I am finally happy with them. :)

Thank you. Got to stay active. I'll be the big 40 in two months. :)

Hey, I just notice your tag under your name. This is for you. I took this pic about 6 months ago. I thought it funny because I had just recently found out that Pho King is pronounce "fucking". LOL.

Well yeah, you have a blue Galant. It probably wouldn't look as good, but your current setup is tight.

Anyhow, the orginal color was silver and they were chipped up. I was bored with the color, so I wanted to color match as I love Patriot Red.

How come you don't have the front windows tinted?

How come you don't have the front windows tinted?

Thanks bro.

The front windows are tinted. Something like 70%. Anyhow, front window tint is illegal in California. I was ticketed for it many years ago and I just paid the fine instead of scrapping it off. I had the window partially cracked when I drove by a CHP and he got all pissy.

I was referring to the front doors. But here in mass we can tint all but the windsheild either way it still looks good.

He wasn't talking about the windsheild. He was talking about the front door windows. :/

I like the rims. I think the color matching brings a cool look to the car.

Bro, the front windows (driver & passenger) are 70% tint. The rear & back window is 5% (limo).

Think the car looks a lot better with the color matched wheels than the original color IMO.

lower it some more and its prefect!!!!! lol

It was dropped 2.2" with Progress springs but it hurt my knees too much getting in and out of the car, so I switched to 1.4" Vogtland springs. The ride, IMO, is much better and I no longer scrape the front end when I park. I happy with the setup, and I the RC's still scrape in the back when I take corners, so I'm going to have to roll the quarter panel fender.

looks great bro! always loved those wheels since they came out. the color match looks VERY NICE and is perfect. and the status of what they are (rare OG RACING HART TYPE C's - uber JDM) and colormatch combined is top status. your car does not at all look like an 11 year old car. excellent work!

Thanks bro. I have never detailed, waxed or polished this car either, however, I do plan on polishing it this week while i'm on vacation. I bought some stuff called System One X3 and tested the B pillar and it made it shine like new and was smooth like glass compared to the rough feel of the rest of the car. Removes scratches real easy, too.

Just makin sure we were on the same page lol my bad. What's so illegal about tinting the front windows though? The darkest we can go is 35%.

QFT. Why do you think the tuner scene has such bad rep? From places like California, Florida, etc.

Corey2kG

That sucks ass. Loud exhaust is a no-no with exceptions too dark of a tint is a no-no too far a drop will fail inspecton but people dont care they do it anyway.

My brother had 1 exactly like that minus the spoiler. 3.0 v6 type 2 engine auto tranny. That bitch chirped in second. She was a neck snapper when you step on the gas.
