I painted my valve cover, head, thermostate housing, everyting. Because of the lighting you cant really see it too well but all the bolt heads and edge of oil cap where painted chrome they really stand out on the black valve cover and I think they look pretty damn good.

1200 deg w/ceramic. Local Kmart is going out of business and paint was 30% off, I bought a bunch of hightemp color cans and 3 of black. Hightemp ceramic seems to stick to things mad good.

BTW you cant see it but the cyl head itself is actually painted black also, I didnt leave it aluminum.

interesting, has ur intake manifold always been that color? im thinking about painting mine black, mine is silver right now...

Well when I got it it was silver. I painted that blue a long time ago. I think I may paint it black also, and the ECI MULTI plate I will paint the light blue that I did the lettering with to keep the theme going.
