Finally giving in...

I've been off and on wanting to get a galant, I currently drive a '99 Chevy s10 and a '93 Ford F250 lifted, ALOT. and well.. I've been to two meets.. love the enviornment, and finally gave in, I like the cars. XD So, sometime within the next 3 months or so if I get this job at a plant I will be purchasing a 2001-2003 Galant and I hope to impress some people ^_^

Texted him last night, said that he wants a V6. Gonna talk him into getting a GTZ.

Tell him to save money find an i4 without a working engine and or transmission for cheap and then swap in an evo 8 engine and a 5spd with evo ecu for the price of a v6 GTZ :)

That's what I have been trying to do, but he said that he wants to get a decently quick engine without having to drop another engine in or anything else. He plans on making it STRICTLY a show/meet car. He and I were looking at body kits at my house and he has interest in the Cyber 2 body kit. Might point him in the direction of the guy that's selling his on these forums that's located in Houston.

There is a Galant near my house that the engine is bad and the guy is selling it for $400. I've been trying to get one of my friends to get that one for a good while now but none of them want it because they don't have the time to be down on a car.

And IDK about gray... lol more than likely it's gunna be an off white like the "Egg" (see bbq meet photos, the "white" eclipse) like he said, gunna make it a strictly show/meet maybe weekend car. I have the s10 which is gunna get the 454 small block v8 that's why i don't wanna do another engine swap, already have plans for one :D
And i GUESS i'll get a flipping gtz >_> lol just didn't really wanna have the same "exact" car as ya zac. for a full list of what i plan on doing just send me a message. this is also my first forum so idk where i would put a list of all the modifications I plan on doing. Also, sorry about the grammar, been helping my friend take apart half his engine to get to his timing belt.... It's a FWD camry... 'nuff said. XD I'll also be uploading Pics of "Sally" (the white s10) and Big Nasty (ford f250/monster truck... you'll see)

You don't have to get a GTZ, just like I said, it's just the "performance" version as the Galant. If you don't want the side molding, leather sets, sun roof, or the "upgraded parts for better performance" you can just get the ES and be just fine with the V6 engine.

Cuz I haven't gotten around to taking nice pics since it ain't running :/ I'm a lil ashamed, the first pic you'lll guys get of her during the day, is running over arro's galant ;) well, him parked under mine
and it's actually a gas 5.8L v8 engine :P
