View Full Version : Mitsu Map updates for Factory Navi

Does any one know if there are map updates out later than what came stock on my 09 Ralliart's NAVI... THe maps are up to date according to my GPS as of like 2007-8..? Is that really the lastest Mitsu Has seriously we are almost half way thru 2010?!?!?! I have called dealership and they claim to their knoweldge its up to date?

My dad just did the update a few weeks ago on his 09 oulander. Damn it was expensive.

haha ok did he buy that map update recently if so I will call again it has been several months since I called Mitsu to ask about it. (Several meaning like 5-6months)

To answer the question there is a map update for the Factory Navigation Units! On the other hand its $199 plus tax.... :(

Oh economy please give me a solid full time job so i can afford this sometime before xmas

I just did this on my audi, simply buy it,......., then sell it on ebay for $50 less and enjoy

Does the galant use the same DVD as the outlander? and can you use ours without the DVD ? I was under the impression you had to leave the dvd in the whole time for it to work. So you wouldn't be able to sell it unless you made a copy somehow.

The guy at the dealership here in charlotte said and i quote " the discs get installed, but don't need to be swapped like before for different regions of the country theres some sort of chip that comes with it along with instructions for user installation " making me think theres some sort of all in one disk or a permanent storage add-on. His response was in regards to me asking does the $199 cover the multi disc set. and he replied with that

Good to know. Sounds like it might be worth the $200 if it updates the map and upgrades the navigation unit. I will have to check with my dealer next week. If you have a part # let me know because the dealer here doesn't seem to be too knowledgable about things.

I went to my local dealer and they had no idea about the update. The called mitsubishi and were told I had the current version. Mine is Version 2007 part#8750A075. Let me know if you are find a part # for a new version. Mine is the 3 dvd set not a single disc and my car is a new 2010 model
