find the paint code under the hood. im guessing w12 aka northstar white? and then call your local automotive paint supplier ask them to mix some for you.

you cant just buy a random white spray can, and expect it to match color and texture of the original paint. you didnt even clearcoat for fsake. DID YOU EVEN SAND?

wow, I never go to autozone and buy "gold" color paint and expect it to match. Kapalanana black is the closest universal color for this car anything else you have to go to a paint shop for the neccesary supplies. But hey, at least you got some practice doing it...

lol that was at 3am after just changed the rear engine mount in a peice of crap hyundai excel. allowed to be agitated. why would having a CF hood change anything? your paintcode should be located on the firewall.

Bro I work in a body shop in the Bronx call S & T. We do bodywork, paint mechanic I mean the whole nine yards. If you want I could get you a quote for the fender; I mean they have to blend the door and bumper to get it right.

you will never be able to perfectly colour match white. ive done it about 300 times, white yellows after a couple of years so if you paint just the fenders it'll look like ass lol.

do as yourtold and take the car to a shop so they can spray the fender and blend all adjacent panels. wont be cheap tho. about 700 at my shop. but we're in canada lol and we charge wayyy too much. and if you absolutely wanna do it yourself, go to a well known bodyshop, ask them to mix you what paint code you have. and respray it.

That is the best way to go. We have a special machine that uses the VIN number of the car to get the OEM paint code and give you the right paint it needs. Plus nothing better than the clear coat lol.

Yea... I mean.. I was thinking about the rustolieum.. but i kinda don't want to be spending 700 bux on a paint job either... im kinda under financed right now.. i just bought the bumper today.. I'm going to try and find a local shop for paint... and ask for their opinion on it.. i mean.. i don't want to go all out.. just wanna color match... i mean if i gotta pay 700 bux for someone to do it.. i might as well just buy all the equip and do it myself ya? idk.. we'll see... did the rustolium work out good bud?

it give it a nice metal kinda feel to it.. ? and gloss?

ahh.. that sux bro.. point taken.. and yea man.. truee.. i thought for some reason you meant the actuall hood.. haha...

and Rustolieumm.. I was literally thinking that like an hour ago.. I think Its Worth a try.. If not.. i'll just try a local shop and try to buy the paint.. Would i need like equipment.. like air spray.. like how will it come. in can bucket? or spray can.. if in pucket i'm assuming no brush... I know i'm a noob..

here look at this https://www.thegalantcenter.org/showthread.php?t=41330&highlight=7gvr4

basically i got half my car painted for 550NZD (like 300usd) and the new paint matched the old perfectly.

you gotta find the right paint shop, i got quoted over 1000 for the exact same job at another paintshop that i used to work at even.

if you DIY it will endup ok but it wont be great. theres a reason it takes 4 years to become a qualified painter.

just sharing some experience Ive had with car painting. take it or leave it.

i know the formula to make northstar white, if you want. however, you will also need clearcoat. and this way, you will need a spray gun, compressor, and a garage to paint.

Napa is your best bet. They should have a warehouse in the store that has all the paint and is like..$75 or so for a gallon of it..Just provide paintcodes and they do the rest.
