I would like all ya'lls personal opinions on my future wheels. I turn to my trusted and brutally honest brothers here on TGC because my 2 close friends are not giving me the feedback Im looking for ... lazy bastards ....

These will be 17's and be fitted with my Potenza RE730 215/45/17. Im going to chew thru those like Opra thru my Granny's fried chicken. Then Ill replace them with better rubber.
I have a 2000 ES in Patriot Red that will be dropped 1.5" both ends. All other appearances are stock with the exception of a future window tint. No spoiler.

These are not in any particular order:

I think your best bet would be to wait a little longer, get together some more cash and buy some better quality wheels. I dont mean like volks or anything but maybe some enkeis. They are a much better quality and the price isnt too much more.

I toyed with that idea quite a bit and it always came down to whether it was worth the investment. I like my G a lot but its not something Im going to invest much money into unless it has to do with the longevity of the car itself.
I dont see how spending another $200-$300 on wheels is going to benefit me in the long run. Please, correct me if Im wrong. Im trying to keep my investment into it low with the money I do spend going towards more necessary items.
I chose the ones above because they will cost me ~$400 for all four corners.
How am I shorting myself with the ones I posted?

That's a good policy. I've stopped all appearance mods myself, because of all the stuff that is failing on me as the miles rack up.

Personally I like 2 and 4. I'm not sure about 4, is it blue or machined silver?

Number one for me, silver wheels look good on Patriot red.

Here are links to the details of #1 (http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=11840) and #2 (http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=11835).

It will be a few weeks before I order them ... time to deliberate LOL!

I can get you in touch with someone with authentic Rays Eins 17s for $350, plus shipping. They do require refinishing though.
