sohc head swap?? help please

i have a 93 galant. i replaced the water pump an put the timing belt on on about 1-2 teeth wrong an bent the valves. im thinkin about swapping the head to a dohc but i would need some help. like would i be able to pull a head off like a 95 galant? maybe find a 1g eclipse head an use that? if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. im new with workin on my car but i have done quite a bit of work myself like new clutch, fuel pump, water pump, etc.. im learning as im goin on which is nice. i do wanna turn this car into a half ass vr-4 lol but i wanna be able to drive it till i have the money to throw some good shit on it. so please any help would be great and thank you!!

95 galant head is sohc too but 16 valves, you dont want to do this

get 1g, 2g dohc head and 1g harness and ECU and swap it. you need the harness cuz your galant has a distributor and 1g ECU needs coil packs and CAS.

Everything is a bolt on. while you have shit apart do the balance shaft delete.
