Guzzlin Gas

Hey guys my car is guzzling gas, I put in 1/4 tank today and drove across my town(which is only 15 miles) and when i got to my house, my car was on E. Its been takin more gas for a few days so Im kinda worried. I really dont have much experience with cars, so Im tryin to learn and figure this stuff out.

What year/engine? Any mods?

2000 Galant ES 4 cyl auto and no mods,sorry i really dont know the exact engine

do you have a check engine light on if so get the codes read...bad o2 sensors can cause car to run rich wich will burn extra fuel...under/over inflated tires, dirty airfilter, bad fuel pressure regulator or a faulty injector...all of those can lead to or directly cause fuel guzzling....also did you add any weight to the car IE: stereo(Subs/amps) or trunk full of heavy stuff like tools or what not?

No my check engine light is not on. And i havent added any extra weight yet. So i guess i need to start checking on the other things you've said
