Hey. My name is Heather. So about a month ago I purchased a 1997 Galant ES with 155,000 miles on it. We paid $650 for it knowing it needed new tires. Well we didn't test drive it, because it didn't have plates on it and we didn't want to get busted. After signing the paperwork and driving home we noticed the transmission was slipping. We also learned it was leaking for the rear seal of the transmission. So after a search we found a used transmission with 98,xxx miles on it and are having that installed. The car has no rust and minimal dings dents and scratches. I'm waiting for it to be fixed this weekend so I can finally drive my new car. This is my first mitsubishi. And here are my crappy pics:

Waiting for it to be finished.... ugh can't wait. I want my car back. Then I have to go to town on the interior. I might snap some before shots to show how gross it is. Hahaha. The windshield is full of finger prints from the guys son playing in the car.

Thanks. I learned I owned a 7G. Haha. I know nothing about these cars. I got it because it was cheap. But I like to join sites to find out information on them.

the motor in this car has been known to go 250K + if you maintain it. all the ones i find in the junkyard are 220k and up. the young ones are wrecked. now you learned something else.

and mine is a daily driver but only 105k on the clock

Well I can't drive it at night till I clean it. The windshield and windows are covered in finger prints. And thanks for the tips about these cars.
