is there one? Ive never found one as yet...
if theres not, shall we set up a basic website?
I can do the site/gphx.. dont have a domain, but we could use something like freeserve for now..

we could put up all our cars, locations and jus a general bit of blurb about each of our cars.. plans etc.. bsically take it from there?
sound like a plan?

vr4 sites are prob big in japan, if a uk site is set up how about trying to get some info of them in english, seen a few with light conversions, bright white side lights, exhaust and air filter mods etc

WOW - spooky !

I have just posted a similar question on the Lancer Register in the VR-4 section and was just about to post the same one in here and saw your thread !

From this site and the MLR (Mitsubishi Lancer Register) I have seen the following VR-4 owners in the UK:

Myself (TGC & MLR)
Nick VR-4 (TGC & MLR)
LeeUK VR-4 (TGC & MLR)
BraindG (TGC)
Petrolhead (TGC)
Doc Cock (MLR)
Chris G (MLR)
Calum (MLR)
Dazboy (MLR)
H7 (MLR)
Jaysback (MLR)

I make that at least 11 owners just on these two websites - and my question was about setting up a club and maybe a meet - imagine 11 VR-4's all in one place, would be some kind of record surely ?

A website is a great idea, and I can do a basic one using Frontpage if we have enough interest.

Here's a link to the other forum question: http://www.lancerregister.com/bbs/showthre...?threadid=18733 ('http://www.lancerregister.com/bbs/showthread.php?threadid=18733')

Cheers

Pete

Hey BraindG

Any chance of you making it to Japfest at Castle Coombe (Wiltshire) on May 17th ?

If we can get a few of us together we could try and get a VR-4 stand or something - so far I am up for it and possibly another - Jaysback (MLR) if he has not sold his for an Evo by then

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight....

We think we've cracked it.. I think I mentioned it before, however when the garage was dealing with the issue regarding the AYC, they mentioned there was slight play in the Steering rack.. weeeeellll this appears to have deteriorated quite a bit. Now when the car is parked, and I wiggle the steering wheel left to right I hear a knocking noise. Which is suggestive of something being loose and knocking before the wheel starts turning..

As you can imagine the car is driving like crap, ive booked it in to the garage from where I bought it, down in Newbury. However im dreading the journey down, ill be sitting there at 40mph hoping nothing breaks off!

will update once I know more next week..

LeeUK - there's not much point meeting up atm. I don't want to drive the car any further than is needed..

but its going to be free... plus its getting a service so.. 6 and half a dozen, spend fortune here and possibly not resolve the problem, and spend 35 quid an hour on finding it

its a risk im willing to take...
