Step up the sport with more comfort, more technology, more value, more fun (Shown with optional Leather Package.).

Same ol' 4 cyl, comes with 4 colors (yeah 4), standard navi stuff, and the 18's from the 4G Eclipse GT. That's all nothing really interesting.

Dont like the body. They should keep the 99-03 body. Good job on the interior. exterior not attracting.

I'm still waiting to see somebody do something worthwhile with a 9G. V6 with headers, cams, 6-speed, etc...

i know KRAZIE has full I/H/E on his V6, but the 9G is not as popular as the 8G so not alot of people have really tuned it just by virtue of it being a much smaller group. i know that in NZ and AUSTRALIA they have been boosting their version of the 9G (380) w/ good results.

You can buy a boosted 380 from the factory over seas.

Headers on mine is the next thing I do. I already have duals cat back.

I like your 9G.. lol

and I typically only like the 9G when i compare it to other larger sedans. If I had to pick a large sedan, I'd probably take a 9G Ralliart. I hate the normal taillights otherwise. The new taillights on the 9G-b look better, but the car came out too late to compete with cars like The Accord, Camry, Altima, etc.

I dig my taillights but I have them blacked out to match the paint.

I hope Mitsubishi reconsider keeping the Galant in their line up! With some serious designs, more up to date features and styling, the can create a new Galant that can compete with the Camry, Accord, Altima and the Mazda 6. Personally I really love the 8th Generation galant. The 9th gen is starting to grow on me especially the 09 -10 love the tail light design lol. Mitsubishi us a good care manufacturer that is underrated andnot given the proper praise itdeserves. Ford axe their taurus after 08 and 2 years later ford had got there act together and resurrected their bread and butter..

Mitsubishi axe their bread and butter Diamante and the Galant supposely filled the place of the galant and now since the Galant won't be available next year, I guess Mitsubishi will let the Lancer fill the Galant and the Diamante place.

since when was the diamante mitsu's "bread and butter"? the lancer has allready replaced the galant abroad... in japan the lancer is known as the galant fortis. the only reason they still sell the 9g here is because the factory in normal illinois is tooled up to produce them, so they'll let production run until the design becomes way too stale forcing the next iteration.

sorry for my misunderstanding but i thought the diamante was their top of the line seller alongside the galant.

In the USA no. They had better sales in Aussie but fizzled out in the 04-05 years. They replaced it with the 380GT VR-X which was a souped up version of the 9G. Sadly, they had to axe that model too due to low sales. So the general answer is no.

Oh I know that but its only my opinion a Galant is a Galant. If someone handed me the keys to a 9g I would take it just I personally wouldn't buy one.

I've always liked the 9g. just not the base models. if its a ralliart or gts they are sweet. I like the 8g... but in my opionion mitsu usa really dumped some cheap materials into the 8g. Overall feeling when I used to drive my sisters is that iw as cheap. They have lots of room for potential thanks to leftovers from Mitsu Japan though! the JDM converted 8g's are hot.
Truth be told I'd take a 9g ralliart over a 8g gtz any day of the week.

I always loved the 8g myself. Looked really cool outside but the interior did look and feel cheap. Kind of a letdown. Then I hated the 9gs until '09 when they changed the taillights. I stepped in an '09 and was pleasantly surprised at the interior. I went ahead and bought an '09 in '08 :)

+1 I remember that I could feel every last mile that car traveled when I drove it. Rattles, squeaks and an overall cheap feeling, like you said. Other that that it was pretty reliable and looked hella sexy. Wouldnt mind having a well kept example again.

I'm a sucker for the 9G/380.

I just built a new big shed to store my collection of them...:icon_razz:

With a few mods they come up looking great IMHO

i like the bright red or orange one, can't tell

is a colour called 'flame red' all 20 of the TMR 380s were that colour. obviously some production cars were too but not many.
is a real bright red colour :D

blackstar/z80/redblower will be along shortly to tell you its actually called ralliart red :P
