Help! I have a problem with my footwell carpet being damp, and it hasn't rained in days. Under my driver's seat is wet as well... I can't figure it out.

Any suggestions?

Many reasons. First, do you smell coolant within the water? If not, read on....

One most common problem is the a/c drainage pipe being clogged. Get it unclogged by shooting compressed air into the pipe or use a coat hangar to pick debris out. The drainage pipe is located in the firewall engine side right behind the rear engine mount. If it's not debris there's a good chance the water is seaping out of the pipe like normal but trickle'ling down under the car and into a rubber grommet that located on the driver side floor board. If that's the case, I highly recommend going to hardware store and buy a high temp rubber hose the size of the pipe and make an extension away from the firewall. I did that and the water problem was solved. Oh, and make sure you get your carpet cleaned.

There's no coolant... Thank God. I've already had the heater core replaced ( Dec. '09).

I'll check that out in the morning... Thanks man.
