Just an update: So i got the IM welded instead of doing the outlander IM swap, had 2 go back to the I4TB do to a faulty V6TB which was causing my random misfires (found that out $400 later). Well i was supposed to have the G fully dropped last nite but only got the fronts done i'll be doing the rears sometime next week. I'll post up some pics soon

A68

So if you bring some A68 with ya. You would need to take off both the front and back bumpers but yea. Just warning ya, your bumpers will be the shiniest parts of your car lol! I mean extremely glossy. It will take 12 hours to dry where it wont crack easily but we could probably shock it with some cold water before leaving for mod. It's really up to you. I wouldn't mind though as long as you did the wet sanding lol.

Great r1 premium rotors. I had them for like 1.5 years. Great rotors. UMMM 2002 2003 bumper. Why did you get that year. Do you know they are different from 1999-01 and the 02-03, you will loose your grill. you need the 02-03 2 piece grill now. PM me i have them if you need them.

glad you are happy, though the backing plate looks like it is bent, i know they werent like that when i sent them. You should be able to bend it out with a set of vise grips.

Looks good, but it looks like you're going to have to get the fog light housing and the grille inserts right?

One thing I'm curious about though, why did you change from the projector heads to the 02-03 heads? Was it because of the HIDs? Or just your taste?

Thanks, Im kinda caught up between getting fogs or doing what G-Spot did & getting JDM heads & using highs as fogs & yea i need the grill inserts.

The projector heads i had were from ebay & i wanted HIDs for them but the bulbs were H1s so i went ahead & got the 02-03 heads instead. I miss the projectors tho i just might put them back in

Yes bro OEM pads are fine but having slotted rotors you will decrease the life of the pads. Get some nice hawks metallic pads. I have the grill for the 02-03 bumper. PM for price. The JDM heads wont look good on the USDM bumper you will have a big ugly gap on it. Rotors looks good.

Ok so its been a while since i've updated this thread so here it goes...

As some of you know i was in an accident recently which destroyed the bumper, bent my hood, cracked the headlight on the driver side also cracked the signal bulb connector & bent in the driver side fender...So i'll be ordering a new bumper today(going back to the one i had), my projector heads that i had before are going back on along with HIDs (going with 5000k, just gonna hard wire them in), ordering brand new fogs (already have 2500k bulbs for those), and a new fender(also ordering today).

They actually aren't bad, I would also warranty my brakes every 6 months, rotors would warp before pads started to wear.

Rach3t8G:
Good luck with your car, hopefully you get it going soon.

Also i was working on the G today since I've been having some trouble one being a vacuum leak that I've been looking for for months & found my leaks were coming from...

http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb427/Christopher_Clarke/IMG-20110318-00026.jpg
http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb427/Christopher_Clarke/IMG-20110318-00027.jpg

The other leak is coming from the bottom of my V6TB...apparently its not sealing rite so i'll be getting new gasket for it & see if that fixes my problem there
