hi there im new here and need your advice asap! what tire size should i buy w/o rolling fenders or rubbing even if i have passengers in the back, 205/45/17 or 215/45/17? had 02 8g 4cyl on tein s-tech still on stock steel wheels, just purchased 17x7 42 offset wheels.. tnx

205 and 215 45 17s will be too small 225/45-17 is the right size, there is a whole thread about tire sizing on here don't jack this thread with your questions.

its awesome, is that the outlander manifold setup? do you have a v6 throttle body on it?

nope thats a sonata intake mani cause its a sonata head but im still using stock t/b cause sonata throttle was on the other side but sonata throttle plate is bigger so i need to upgrade soon think im gonna put the diamante on there but well see.

i wanna do a dohc head as well, roughly how much did it run for you?

about 200-270 for absolutely everything that includes gaskets belts everything. and its really not hard. and i believe theres a head a center j/y right now too so you might be able to pick it up got mine there he wanted 100$ for the head mani harness coolant tube sensors throttle body ect so it was a steal.

but with the sonata mani you cant use a top strut bar just advance notice if you have one and you may need to move your battery i already had my trunk mounted at the time so i was all set.

ive heard it can run on the stock ecu but i personally had to do the dual ecu setup which cost another 150.

nope my turbo setup is actually ment for the 64 XD obx mani custom dp t3/t4 ar .50 turbo wrx 565 injectors 225 walbro pump xcess wastegate ect ect all good for about 20-22 psi with the sonata heads 8.5:1 comp ratio and my stock bottom end hasnt died yet!!

no but i could prolly give you a parts list for either headswap or turbo kit i remeber both since they were huuuuuge projects XD.

alright just fair warning though if you go with the sonata head like me your gonna lose power as it lowers the comp ratio by .5 from stock iirc the evo head actually bring the comp ratios up to something like 11 or 12:1 but im sure you can always get high comp pistons later ill probably have a list for you tmrw either way though
