Hi guys, my name's Justin, I'm from New Zealand, new to the forum and hopping someone can help.

I have a perfect condition 4G63 SOHC Auto 88 super saloon (I've had it for 6 years), I was going to convert it to Manual with a 4G63T, I've collected all the body parts from the Vr4 to make it a look-a-like, kind of a VR2 lol. But now I've found a damaged VR4 and I would like to swap everything around to make my SuperSaloon AWD turbo, basicaly just swap sheels, is this possible???

Another Q, do all the 6G FWD Galants have the same rear suspension?

Since nobody has said anything I will anwser my own questions.

A front wheel drive galant gan't be made AWD, the rear body section is different (I found this out once I had my vr4 donor next to my car), the FWD has a lower rear flor section with the gas tank in a different place. The only way it could work is to replace the Fwd floor section in question with the vr4 one, a huge job (I'm a panel beater so I know:()

All Fwd galants have the torson bar rear, not all have rear disk brakes. Though here in NZ only the lowest models don't have four wheel disk brakes. Also worth noting! the rear shocks from the Vr4 are the same as the Fwd exept they are about 5cm (2") longer, I was told by a suspencion guru that the Vr4 shocks can be used in a Fwd galant and just adjusted shorter, using keeper springs if required.

Hope that helps people trying to gather info as I was.

ah sorry no one was able to answer your question. There's not too many 6G owners on here. Thanks for the info though!
