Broken parts need help

Okay so my mechanic had torn apart my car again to do the job the right way. This time he's replacing the flex plate There is one broken part that we can't get at a parts store. However I was hoping one of you might be able to tell me what its called. I know is that it bolts to the back of the engine.

starter plate, i have a spare one somewhere.

Got one on order from a dealer. $22. Then my car goes back together and should be working right.

Isn't there a difference between the starter plates on cars with automatic transmissions and those with 5 speeds?
